About Kurt Jacobson
Kurt has been an artist all his life. In 1998 with the supportof his family he entered the professional arena. He is the current President of the Alaska Artists Guild. He has won numerous awards for his artwork and has been selected two times to produce the Alaska Railroad Official Print and Poster in 2006 & 2008. His entry in the Art For Alaska Parks Competition in 2007 won the "Peoples Choice Award:, also in 2012 one of his entries won the "Peers Choice Award" and another the "Refuge/Wildlife Sanctuary Award". Kurt is an active member of the Alaska Plein Air Painters and has developed a passion for painting out of doors.
